Candy Makeup Artist has been conjuring the bizarre since she was 16 years old, when she first began sharing her work online from the Netherlands. Now a renowned stylist and makeup artist, she has built a world entirely her own: towering headdresses, sculpted corsets, and makeup that feels pulled from the edges of folklore and forgotten myth.
Her aesthetic sits somewhere between a Tim Burton fever dream and an ancient story told around a fire. Drawing from folklore and mythological traditions, she transforms her subjects into living characters from worlds where the strange is sacred and everything is possible. Beyond creating, she teaches, rents and sells her pieces, and regularly brings her vision to life on music video sets.
