Julie Liger-Belair

Julie Liger-Belair is a Toronto-based artist and a graduate of OCAD University. She creates mixed-media pieces using materials like acrylic paint, wood, metal, Japanese paper, and found images. Her work often incorporates Victorian-era photographs, which she collects for their nostalgic and evocative qualities. Over the past two decades, Julie has exhibited in solo and group shows across Canada, the U.S., and Europe. Outside the studio, she enjoys camping with her partner, their three imaginative kids, and their small black dog, Frida.
