Solo Exhibition

Something small, something weak, something beautiful to throw away. The only lesson a little heart learns is how to fall apart. Importance and value are human words, but what do they mean to a stray cat? The party was over before you got here, and everyone has left disgusted. Over and over a light has gone out, and rain has poured down the siding, leaking past the window frame. The air is damp, and cracks ruin the plaster. A Bitter heart becomes a meal, and eventually the haunts and ghouls will find out, they will learn that what they abandoned was priceless, and they will try to eat, but only choke.
