Statement: The Destruction of Shadow” illustrates a shadowy figure turned away from the viewer, with a large all-seeing flower floating above their face in keen observation. The flower is so focused that it doesn’t seem to realize the flames beginning to engulf it or the subject. I feel as though this could be interpreted a number of ways, and would love to know the stories you, as a viewer, might spin within your mind.
